in todays day and age I think the gay community is welcomed anymore and its less difficult to embed yourself into a company…spoken as a headhunter/recruiter who could give a rats ass what your preferences are…Can you do the job?

Thanks for the comment Mike d, on topic / relevant comments are always welcome. I like that attitude, the can you do the job, forget what your sexual orientation is.
